Locus:

Right now I am a student at the University of Arizona, pursuing a degree in Design Arts and Practices (emphasis on Object Design) with a minor in Creative Writing. Projected graduation is in the summer of 2027.

In Spring of 2026 I will be starting an internship with the D-REP Lab.

Ethos:

My main focus is on using engineering, art, and curiosity to make cool stuff. I also love sharing this cool stuff with others, and perhaps the single biggest reason why is because I hope that by doing so it will inspire other people to become creators, too.

Everyone has the ability and potential to make amazing things, so another primary focal point for my effort is working towards making it easier for people to realize and manifest their creativity. This can be by demystifying workflow and processes (which is the main reason I created my Patreon page), or by developing tools that allow creators to focus on … well … creating, instead of learning how to effectively utilize complex computer programs, processes, and workflows (which is something I will hopefully be working on during my internship at D-REP Lab).

Process:

Engineering is binary. The hard-edged principles of logic and mathematical expression provide structure, scaffolding and framework that supports and animates. It amplifies, it extends. Engineering reaches around the world, and beyond it, with a relentless search for knowledge and a hunger for understanding.
Engineering explores. It challenges.
It exists where the falling angel meets the rising ape

Art is analog. It is emotion. Art tells stories. Art acts as a mirror which invites us to reflect on ourselves, our societies, our cultures. Art is a lens, zooming out for a larger perspective or moving in to provide focus.
Art connects us. Art inspires us.
Art makes us human.

Curiosity ties everything together. It is multidisciplinary. It is finding similarities between things which may be widely, wildly dissimilar and connecting them in ways that create something unique. In the larger world, as with humans, connections are more common and often run deeper than may appear at first glance.

It is my goal to use my diverse background and unique perspective to create things that inspire, that teach and provoke thought, to make artifacts and installations which spark conversation and evoke emotions and hopefully, possibly, provide catalyst for change.

Feel free to take your time. Take a look around, here or on my Patreon page (it’s free to join). You can also follow me on other platforms. I hope you find something that leaves you with inspiration, delight, or a new perspective.

And if you believe that I’ve been successful in my goal, feel free to let me know.

You can also reach out if you have ideas, would like to see about a commissioned piece, or if you are interested in collaborating to make something wonderful together.

Thank you!
